From my understanding factions has not received a major update that affects gameplay. I feel like Guildcraft factions is becoming less and less relevant than most of the other faction servers, which are updating constantly and providing new material. Don't get me wrong I do think Factions is great and unique, but I think it needs some new updates. To me honestly after many years of playing the server I grew quite bored of the bland gameplay. Here are a few suggestions on what I think factions needs. More crates: I think factions needs more ways to acquire items and crates is a good example. I know there are vote crates already in the game but it isn't very easy to get. Maybe you can get crates by donating or completing a daily task something along those lines. Events: The addition of events would add much more excitement and anticipation and make grinding a little more exciting possibly. Special Enchantments. New enchantments would make PVP much more exhilarating and would also make grinding to make god gear take longer and be harder. Right now all you have to do is simply made a diamond set with Prot IV and Unbreaking III and you are ready. I don't expect you to just jump out and start doing update after update, but consider these proposals. Updating over time helps too.
