»[FACTION OG] We need changes!

Welcome Guildcraft community,

My name is ArjanAttack aka Arjan if been here sinds 1.2 and I'm still intresting in Guildcraft but, I don't play alot anymore because, less intresting for minecraft. I would like to play again but this always fails but I still love the server and his community so helping out will be awesome !

Warzone

This has been a issue for Guildcraft for a long time now. Always trapping and stuff.
Like aXed always said to me was: "We can't forbit trapping it's part of the game" and I agree about that this is a community issue and some of them like it and some of them don't. Okay for me.
I have a solution what maybe could work

You can't claim in 4 chunks of the warzone but you can break it and tnt it. With this we can maybe tnt the trap etc!

I like the warzone of guildcraft, nice and flat! Keep up the good work!

Economy

Economy of Guildcraft ... No offence but it always was a struggle. So I came up with some shop prices

Selling:
- 64 Sugarcane = $300
- 64 Cactus = $100
- 64 Carrot = $400
- 64 Netherward = $350
- 64 Wheat = $500
- 64 Pumkin = $300
- 64 Melon Slice = $75
- 64 Rotten flesh = $100
- 64 Bones = $100
- 64 Arrows = $150
- 64 GunPowder = $600
- 64 Blaze rods = $1000
- 16 Enderpearls = $350
- 64 Steak = $250
- 64 Leather = $200

Buying:
- 64 Obsidian = $1000
- 16 Sponge = $500
- 16 Lava bukkits = $500
- 16 Water bukkits = $500

Spawners
- Chickenspawner 25000
- Pig Spawner 40000
- Spider spawner 50000
- Cow spawner 50000
- Zombie spawner 80000
- Skeleton 90000
- Enderman 110000
- Blaze 140000
- IG spawner 200000

I forget something important let me know!

Remove or do something with the spawners in /donateshop pls, this makes also a issue!

All honesty if you wanted to stop ppl from trapping go back to the oldest gc warzone "ik I only started play 4 years ago but I use to watch old faction vs faction videos of Arf crazy ass 12+ ppl fighting in warzone"... So i started playing gc an when it was semi flat with a bit of a hill with Cobble pvp bases so tnt wasn't enabled yet. An the best way to prevent trapping was those crazy ass mountains like 2 -3 chunks away from the drop zone... Since they wouldn't be able to throw an enderpearl that high up,

Since aXed kept moving and moving and moving the PvP claims farther away from spawn I feel like no one wants to pvp cuz they will just keep running and running. This will require more pearls more speed pots and you will barely see anybody.

1k for a stack of blaze rods?
A stack of iron doesn't sell for that much.
Uh. Fix the prices.

 

True, the economy in factions at least, is really bad. I always struggled to make money when I used to play, unlike other servers. The prices of mob loot should go up.

 

Yeah ok we can max up the Spawner prices
Lets double it

Spawners
- Chickenspawner 25000
- Pig Spawner 40000
- Spider spawner 50000
- Cow spawner 50000
- Zombie spawner 80000
- Skeleton 90000
- Enderman 110000
- Blaze 140000
- IG spawner 200000

A stack of iron lets say it need to change to = $ 650
It's worser then blazerods because blaze are harder to automatic farm it then Iron golem.

Yeah how about no ,

We are too far into the map and doing this will crash the entire economy and top donators/supporters/players will quit factions and it will die completely , along with factions , prison are the major sources of donations , if we do this basically the entire server will shut down.

I can't understand shit because of your grammar maybe next time take someone's help before making a suggestion and ask them to fix your grammatical mistakes as it might cause a misunderstanding.

As for the traps they are already way far away from spawn and you can enderpearl away from on top of them if you want to get behind or just do /wild ( I think) and it will teleport you away from spawn and all the way out of the pvp base's.

Trapping is totally fine imo you are probably making this cus' you fell down into one and didnt get out and died because there's no other reason to make this.

Honest opinion about this suggestion , ( Sorry to break it to you no matter how many like's or +1's you get on this it wont get added even if you cry and die)

The suggestion in my eyes isn't worth the time ( IN MY OPINION ONLY (This is suggestions section dont be y if you get negative feedback it is a part of the section)OTHERS MIGHT HAVE A DIFFERENT OPINION)

Honestly if this was added GC is dying and this will be the final blow to kill it off.

 

Except for the IGs I think the admins have done a really good job balancing the economy this time.

Nope , I never said factions is dying ,

I said factions is a major source of revenue for the server i.e donations (Along with prison)

Honestly 90% of rank purchasers are from either of the two sub-servers and a major chunk is factions because so many people have purchased cosmetic ranks even after them doing no crap at all

But,

It's logic it's for a reset, ok I didn't mention it but, it's more logic right?

PvP bases I ment you can't claim in 4 chunks then out of warzone. When u leave those 4 chunks then you can claim so you Always have a little bit of neutral land.

For prices I was wrong if been on Guildcraft for 2nd day and I gave all my stuff away so I can test how much money I could make in 1 day. Atm I have 3 cow spawners a huge sugarcane farm and close to around 50k. I don't think we should buff the sell prices but, lowering the spawner prices a bit would be better (I think).

For /donateshop or /legencyshop doesn't really matter what the name is . I mean change it a bit because Titan's get an IG-spawner first day and they also have a lot of money. I know they paid for it.
But, I'm also a 150 euro donater, I also spent my money on this and I still disagree with the /legencyshop. I think they also need to add that /legencyshop will be accesable after 4 days of the reset same as kits etc.

Some small things:

I have seen that redstone is not working that probably on Guildcraft.
Redstone repeaters with small tick delay can mess up a whole cannon if u need to cannon a big base.
I hope @aXed can look at this problem

Oh and yeah aXed can't change it because it would violate the terms of service which was provided to the purchaser's when they bought the rank , many would end up making dispute's for this and would make it a bigger issue.

Yeah I already saw that.

But aXed did this befote in 1.3 we had ./kit diatools also removed & using /legencyshop for 4 days after it reset it's not taking away something.
