»Too Many X-Ray Hackers in UHC

I have always loved playing UHC on GuildCraft but recently after it returned there seems to be an unbelievable excess of x ray hackers who get full diamond and golden apples for days in the games.

This really makes it difficult for us to enjoy playing this amazing gamemode - and nobody likes a hacker!

I think installing an Anti-Xray plugin would be really beneficial to the server as it would make the game fair for everyone. I think the plugin was there before because I rarely say any x-ray hackers before UHC went down for a while and returned.

I was playing a game today and I worked really hard to get really good gear and got diamond chestplate, rest full iron and all prot 2 with iron sword sharp 2, bow power 2, two golden apples. Then after all this hard work I go to deathmatch and see a guy in full diamond who shoots an arrow at me that does 4 hearts damage and then hits me twice with fire aspect and I die. This is why we need the plugin.

Even if not a plugin, maybe just use what was used in the past because there was very very few hackers back then. I am pretty sure other people will definitely agree with this (besides the hackers, they probably won't!)

Please take this into consideration cause I think we would all like a hacker free server. @Raghdan

Yep I definitely agree, there's way too many hackers and something needs to be done about cause I can't handle it anymore! I'm leaving if this isn't fixed soon, your idea sounds great.

 

I'm not an admin on UHC, all what I can do to help you is advising you to report them by recording a video and then send it through a thread on our forums as well.

Do not think I'm a global-admin, because I'm not simple as that.

When I was playing UHC there was an anti x-ray plugin and I don't think they removed it so this thread is kinda usless if the plugin is still on the server.

 

how tho? we're gonna record the WHOLE time? that's gonna be hard despite there is no spectating ,only an admin/people that can ban can spectate so we can't see who's the hackers are :/

 

How the hell am I gonna record someone using x-ray? Antiknockback or kill aura is pretty obvious, but x-ray? Other than the usual dumbass getting full diamond at 10 mins from the beginning of the game, it's pretty hard for us, players, to know when someone else is x-raying.

 

I get your point, but sometimes it is pretty easy to record for example yesterday I was playing uhc and I saw someone mining so I followed his path and it was so weird and obvious he was using xray, when I killed him he had over 40+ iron in the first 5-10 min. Also for the other people their is no anti xray plugin. Things should get better when there is staff.

 

The plugin isn't there I'm pretty sure cause there couldn't randomly be an increase of full diamond armored people all of a sudden, but I think someone should test it out since I don't know how x-ray works.

I understand that but it's really rare to find people's mines and they can easily get away without hacking. I think just putting the anti xray plugin would be the easiest and best idea, like there was before. Also, when will there be UHC staff?

 

There is an anti xray plugin, it was there before. Two months ago ish my friend tried to hack after he got pissed at me and then he couldn't because he saw random ores everywhere or something like that.

 

40+ iron in the first 5-10 minutes is nothing lol infact if he was xraying through a wierd path for iron that would be much slower than regular caving since iron is anything but scarce. This comment is so made up

 

He was only mining for 2-3min and it wasn't a cave + stone tools.

 

mining for 2-3 minutes and 40+ iron with stone tools without a cave? Lets assume you totally didnt contradict your first comment. Still, mining blocks between with stone pickaxes would take more time than that even if you were xraying

Lol this topic is unrelated really, the big deal is that people are hacking and we need the plugin installed to stop it, cause there is a plugin that makes it so that people can't see through blocks when x-raying that was there before (I just did research). We need the plugin ASAP please!

 

I mine full diamond almost every game, it is possible to be really good at caving.

BUT, yes there are a lot of xrayers. A.k.a the people with strange mining paths, full diamond in 10-20 minutes, etc. etc.
