Hackers are a big problem, yes, but Admins are extremely unique and require a gigantic amount of experience.
It isn't as simple as getting Admins, it requires at least 2-3 months of experience as a Moderator or Helper for someone to be promoted to Admin.

There's currently no effective way to speed this process further, an Admin holds great power, power that could cause catastrophic consequences if wielded by someone untrustworthy or selfish. That's why testing takes so long, only someone truly worthy of such a rank is promoted.

Reporting hackers and rule breakers on the Forum always helps too, even if by a little and we deeply thank anyone willing to report users breaking the rules.

But yes, we can all agree that a substential increase in staff members would cause a good amount of impact among hackers and rule breakers in general.

Why do people always complain about gc having not enough admins..
It isn't hard to get a recording software & just record hackers, if more people did this it would help alot, believe me.
And as Endless stated you can't just pick random people and promote them to admins.
Minecraft is a game with alot of hackers indeed, but every server has hackers & yes some more than others.
So how more players, how more hackers this is just how it works. :)

    Hey,

Ofcourse everyone want more Admins, every Head-Admin wants new ones, the biggest problem is, applications.

90% of the applications are bullshit, with smileys and 1 sentence of motvation like: i wanna help GC cuz its a awesome server! axed i love you!

then the 10 % that passes, and gets mod.

they need to get experience with being a staff member and the commands.

some people take longer to do that then others, but some mods are never ready to become a Admin.

From that 10% half of them quit before they get in range of Admin

which leaves 5% of the applies, only 1/2% is really suited for the job as Admin.

Its REALLY REALLY hard to find good and active admins.

    Just my opnion ^^

Well, Admins aren't the only one who can prevent hacking on Guildcraft, Moderators can ban people too.

Moderators are unable to ban because it would be easily abusable, heck, they can barely kick.

You still have to be a Mod/Helper for 2-3 (or more) months before you even start thinking about typing up an application.
