Alright, this thing deserves a thread of its own, I'm not trying to farm posts, nor farm likes or anything, but this is long over due and clearly every time its brought up its denied. Its not a matter of what is wanted, its whats needed. Add cobwebs to shop. And don't make it extremely expensive. So first I'd like to point out how bs the argument that cobwebs are good for trapping are. If you get stuck in a cobweb in a claimed area, learn what an enderpearl is. If you get stuck in a cobweb in a trap, well you were already stuck so no need to cry about it. If you get stuck in wilderness in pvp in a cobweb, well break it ffs.. Reasons why we need cobwebs in shop As the reset approaches, its quite evident that GC is transforming more towards a true cannon server. And with cannons is the usage of cobwebs. I don't care what you haters say. Its a simple fact that cannons use cobwebs, whether or not you're skilled enough to make it reusable cobwebs, is not the server's fault. However it is the fault of the server for preventing cannons for coming into use. No one is going to spend hours searching for mineshafts [Or any other way because I do happen to know there are others] But fudge it, its pointless, thats like me telling you, you need to go get your own chests, but wait. I won't allow it to be craftable, and you have to find it only in mineshafts, good luck mate. To put this into perspective for you people who's minds I'll hopefully change at the end of this for why we need cobwebs in shop, here it is. 1) It takes enough skill to cannon already, no one is going to "master" how to get cobwebs on GC, nor does anyone really care. 2) GC's system without cobwebs in shop, has made cannoning harder than it ever needed to be. I know admins have declined this idea before, but I simply won't be showing you the cannoning aspects. I mentioned trapping and you had it there, there is no reason why you can say it'll encourage trapping, trapping already exists on GC, it isn't ever going to stop until someone absolutely demolishes these traps. 3) There's large quantities of cobwebs going into cannons, sometimes even 20. Now for someone to make a 240 stacker [Which hopefully people will next reset] and to have to go scavenge for cobwebs like a desperate child hunting for the non-xrayed mineshafts is ridicule. Its simply not something I plan on doing. If it takes enough skill to do one thing why do we need to complicate it even more by making the resources needed even more scarce. Auction House Organization -- Yes, this is implemented on other servers, but this is one thing I dont really care if you claim its copying. Auction house items should be organized into multiple categories. I'm sure you can assume why based on /ah you can barely tell spawners between tools, tnt etc. Here are the categories I think it should be in or atleast so me of them. Spawners Blocks Raiding [Any dispensers, tnt, etc] Miscellaneous [Cobwebs, ceggs, etc] Ores [Diamond blocks, redstone dust, etc Enchants [All enchant books] Tools [All tools excluding bows and swords and all axes that have sharp] Weapons [All bows, swords, and axes that have sharpness] Spawners I went on a rant on this before, but spawners are pay to win. And it has to stop. I myself, have gotten lazy over the months because of this leisure given to us by /donate shop. All but some spawners should be in /warp shop. This will not only slightly balance it, but its fair. Members won't get scammed out of 400k for a dumb spawner we paid nothing to get, and when I mean nothing, I literally mean nothing. You paid euros, but you've used your rank so much that if you were to total the in game monetary value of all the items you've recieved across all servers, you've gotten more than you've paid had you traded it all, if you've played more than 2 resets, this applies to you. Donateshop, should not, be the source of 50% of GC's spawners. 100% of creeper spawners come from DC, 100% of enderman spawners, around 30% of blaze spawners come from donate shop. Those 2 100%s should not exist. Thats simply an imbalance, yes I like the advantage, but its an advantage that simply makes us donators lazy, and gives us too much of an advantage. Simply being able to buy a spawner, such as a creeper spawner, which would go in shop for, lets say 500k, is advantage enough. We shouldn't be able to have such rare items, and yes it is rare for thousands of members out there who play GC. I understand it is a part of certain servers where it isn't too competitive. But facs is competitive, and having advantages in highly competitive servers, isn't competition at all. To put it into perspective, having the spawners from donate shop, is basically fighting someone who has a god mode in pvp, it doesn't fit. @aXed @Tibo442

i love the ideas. i am a member and i find it unfair that donators can get spawners whenever they like and we have to grind money for hours just to get a zombie spawner
